Bill Eshenbaugh

Licensed since 1983, Bill Eshenbaugh has been active in brokerage and land development in the Tampa Bay area for over two decades. He's been active as a Director or Officer in most of the major real estate organizations as well and is a former senior instructor for the RealtorsŪ Land Institute (RLI). Eshenbaugh, president of Eshenbaugh Land Company is affectionately known as "The Dirt Dog".

Bill was honored as 2011 RealtorŪ of the Year by FGCAR, Florida Gulfcoast Commercial Association of RealtorsŪ, Inc. for his many years of achievement and contribution. He was also honored at NAIOP's Best of the Best Awards as Tampa Bay Real Estate Hall of Fame 2011 Inductee.

Bill was also honored by The Florida RealtorsŪ with the 2010 Commercial RealtorŪ Achievement Award. This is the first time the statewide RealtorŪ organization has given this award since it began their annual awards 50 years ago. The prestigious award was given at the annual convention in Orlando. Before bestowing this award, Florida RealtorŪ president, Wendell Davis noted that is for "LIFETIME" ACHIEVEMENT".

Recent honors include the "Land Deal of the Year 2010" by FGCAR shared with Nancy Surak, "induction into RLI's Education Hall of Fame and "Land RealtorŪ of America 2003". Among his peers, he has been honored as the FGCAR "# 1 Top Producer Land Broker" in 2010, 2009, 2007, 2006, 2005, 2003, 2002, 2001 and 2000. Bill was honored with "Deal of the Year 2009" and "Deal of the Year 2002". He has been honored with the "Land Deal of the Year" for closing complicated land deals and providing exemplary service to his clients in 2010, 2009, 2006, 2004, 2003, 2002 and 2001. He was the "Florida Land RealtorŪ of the Year" in 2002, 1998 and 1996. Bill was named the 1987 Builder of the Year by the Tampa Bay Builders Association (TBBA) and is a life director.

Bill makes his home in Clearwater, Florida and is married to Lynda Keever, native Floridian and Executive Vice President of Eshenbaugh Land Company. Lynda was the former Publisher of Florida Trend Magazine and was honored as Governor Bush's choice for Florida's Women's Hall of Fame. Bill enjoys fly fishing and riding horses near their second home in Utah.

Ryan Sampson
ALC, CCIM

Mr. Sampson joined the Eshenbaugh Land Company in May 2005 as a Land Associate. Since joining, Sampson has been actively involved in land listings and contracts in excess of $160 million dollars. Ryan earned his license as a Licensed Real Estate Broker-Associate in 2007 in the state of Florida. He also earned his ALC designation (Accredited Land Consultant) and his CCIM designation (Certified Commercial Investment Member) as perhaps the youngest in the nation to ever earn both. Both designations are awarded only after meeting stringent education and experience requirements.

Ryan currently is the 2011-2012 Florida RLI Chapter President. The RealtorsŪ Land Institute presented him the "Florida Land Realtor® of the Year" award for 2009. Ryan was also honored with "Deal of the Year" for both 2009 and 2006 as well as with "#2 Top Producer Investment" for 2009 and "#3 Top Producer Land" for 2010, 2009, 2007 and 2006 by FGCAR. In addition, he was named by FGCAR the "Rookie of the Year" for 2006. The Tampa Bay Business Journal also honored him with their "Real Estate Land Deal of the Year" in 2006. Both Real Estate Florida and the Realtor Magazine separately named Ryan as one of their "30 under 30" winner's for 2008. Since 2005 he has closed more than $160,000,000 dollars worth of real estate.

He also was a founding board member of the Urban Land Institute Young Leaders Tampa Bay program and is currently the communications chairperson. In addition, Ryan is on the board of directors for the Tampa Bay chapter of NAIOP as a Developing Leader. He is also involved with Real Estate Investment Council, International Council of Shopping Centers, and The National Home Builders Association.

Nancy Surak

Nancy Surak is a land specialist focusing on land sales transaction. Nancy joined Eshenbaugh Land Company in 2005. She is a resident of Land O Lakes in Pasco County and has family that has lived in Hernando County for more than 30 years.

Nancy was awarded the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation by the CCIM Institute, one of the nation's leading commercial real estate associations. CCIMs are recognized experts in commercial real estate brokerage, leasing, asset management, valuation, development, the corporate environment, property management, appraisal and related segments of commercial real estate and investment analysis. Only six percent of the estimated 150,000 commercial real estate practitioners nationwide hold the CCIM designation, which reflects not only the caliber of the program, but also why it is one of the most coveted and respected designations in the industry.

Nancy was honored with the "Land Deal of the Year 2010" by FGCAR (shared with Bill Eshenbaugh) and received Realtor'sŪ Land Institute National "ALC to ALC Networking Award" for the highest volume award land deal in 2010 in Florida. In 2010 she earned her Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation. In 2007 she earned her Accredited Land Consultant designation (ALC) from the National RealtorsŪ Land Institute (RLI). She has been honored by Gulf Coast Business Review in its Forty Under Forty list as well as by Florida Real Estate Journal as a Top Woman in Florida Commercial Real Estate 2008. She's also been recognized by FGCAR as "The #2 Top Producer Land Broker" in 2010 and as a "Million Dollar Plus" producer for her closed land transactions in 2009, 2007 and 2006. In addition to teaching as an Adjunct Professor at The University of Tampa in the College of Business for its Real Estate Management course, Nancy serves on the Leadership Tampa Bay Board of Directors and recently completed a 2-year term of service on the Board of Directors for the Pasco County Economic Development Council (PEDC). She remains actively involved in the PEDC through her Pasco County Citizen's appointment to the Business Incentive Commission.

Lynda Keever

Lynda Keever served as Publisher of Florida Trend, a 50-year old leading business magazine for the past 18 years and was the first and only woman to hold that position.  She retired in April 2009.   Ms. Keever joined her husband, Bill Eshenbaugh, as Executive Vice President of Eshenbaugh Land Company. 

A fifth-generation Floridian, Ms. Keever was inducted into the Florida Women’s Hall of Fame.  In naming her to the Hall of Fame, then Gov. Jeb Bush described her as a woman “who has done extraordinary things during a lifetime filled with support for economic development and education”.

A graduate of Manatee Junior College and Florida State University with a BA in government and a minor in business administration, Ms. Keever received the LeRoy Collins Distinguished Community College Alumni of the Year Award.  She was named a Florida State University "Grads Made Good".   The Independent Colleges and Universities of Florida (ICUF) named her the Business Leader of the Year.  The Florida Association of Colleges and Universities (FACU) recently honored Ms. Keever for her service to higher education.

While the publisher of Florida Trend Magazine, Ms. Keever served as a board member for Enterprise Florida, the Florida Chamber of Commerce and the Florida Research Consortium.  She has been a long-time member of the Florida Economic Development Council and an alumnus of Leadership Florida.  The Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship at FSU honored her as Entrepreneurial Advocate of the Year. 

Prior to joining Florida Trend Magazine, Ms. Keever learned the inner working of the residential real estate industry and gained professional experience including 10 years as publisher of a new home magazine in the Tampa Bay area.  She received the Member of the Institute of Residential Marketing (MIRM) designation 25 years ago and is a past-president of Housing Guides of America.  Previously the Builders Association of Greater Tampa Bay honored Ms. Keever as Associate of the Year.  She was awarded the Pinellas County Contractors and Builders Association President’s Cup for service to the housing industry.

Ms. Keever resides in Clearwater with her husband and business partner, Bill Eshenbaugh, CCIM, ALC, president of Tampa-based Eshenbaugh Land Company and well known in commercial circles as “The Dirt Dog”.
