Eshenbaugh Land Company is pleased to announce the successful closing of two separate self-storage development sites in the Tampa Bay region, reinforcing the continued investor demand for self-storage.
Chase Collier, CCIM represented the sellers in the $1,960,000 sale of 8.62± usable acres at the corner of Symmes Road and Trotwood Drive in Riverview, Florida. The buyer intends to develop a combination of self-storage units and RV/boat storage. With close proximity to I-75 and a growing residential population, the site offers excellent visibility and accessibility.
“This site checked a lot of boxes for the buyer—high visibility, usable acreage, and proximity to a dense residential base,” said Chase Collier. “With continued demand for RV and boat storage in suburban Tampa, this property was a great fit for long-term use.”
In a separate transaction, Chris Bowers, ALC, CCIM and Michael Strahan, ALC, CCIM, MAB represented the sellers in the $1,700,000 sale of 1.82± acres within The Shoppes of Dade City, located off US Highway 301 and Clinton Avenue in Dade City, Florida. The buyer plans to construct a climate-controlled self-storage facility, adding to the area’s evolving commercial corridor.
“These two closings show that quality self-storage sites in prime locations are still attracting capital and moving to the finish line,” said Chris Bowers. “Storage remains one of the most resilient asset classes—especially in fast-growing submarkets.”
