In honor of Women’s History Month, Tampa based land brokerage, Eshenbaugh Land Company, wants to highlight and welcome Vaike O’Grady as the newest addition to our team! She brings over 25 years of experience working with developers and home builders as well as a wealth of knowledge honed through navigating complex projects and fostering relationships within the industry. Vaike is based in Lake County, FL, and will help us grow and expand into Central Florida.

About Vaike O’Grady
With over 25 years of experience in residential real estate, Vaike understands the key components of successful community development. Her work for developers and homebuilders and her understanding of community building allows her to serve both buyers and sellers.
Vaike started her career in residential real estate like a lot of us do—she fell into it, and she fell in love. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from Loyola University in Baltimore, she landed a job with the Home Builders Association of Maryland in their communications department, learning the regulations and the processes associated with homebuilding. From there she moved on to a corporate position in marketing and sales with The Ryland Group, transferring to Florida with the company.
Vaike blossomed in Florida, eventually transitioning to the land developer side. She invested 17 years working with highly regarded national developer Newland Communities in markets throughout the Southeast and in Central Texas, where she helped to guide new community positioning, builder partnerships, and marketing and sales efforts. Vaike played a significant role in the success of notable Tampa-area communities FishHawk Ranch and MiraBay. She was on the land early on and part of the start-up team for the award-winning communities of Bexley and Waterset, both in Tampa Bay.
In 2016, Vaike was called into a new role, accepting the position of Regional Director for Metrostudy (eventually Zonda), a consulting and advisory firm providing data and market insights to developers and home builders. In Texas, Vaike was a key point of contact for homebuilders who were seeking to make large land acquisitions throughout Central Texas. She was actively engaged with the local Urban Land Institute, eventually becoming Austin District Chair.
Vaike came home to Florida in 2021, where she reengaged with developer and builder contacts across the state and received her Florida Real Estate License for the second time.
